Resolved, That at the request of the Diocese of Central New York, the companion diocese relationship now existing between it and the Diocese of Egypt in the Episcopal Church of Jerusalem and the Middle East be extended for a further three-year period, through December 1990, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further Resolved, That at the request of the Diocese of Kentucky, the companion diocese relationship now existing between it and the Diocese of Sunyani and Tamale in the Church of the Province of West Africa be extended for a further three year period, through December 1990, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further Resolved, That at the request of the Diocese of Vermont, a companion relationship between that diocese and the Lusitanian Church of Portugal be established, such relationship to be in effect through December 1990, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further Resolved, That the above dioceses avail themselves of previous learnings and guidelines, through consultation with the Episcopal Church Center staff and others, and that each companion share its own experience and learnings with the larger church. |
