Resolves of the Executive Council

Resolved, That The Executive Council approve a request for $30,000 from the Roanridge/Cochel Trust Fund 833 for the following estimated expenses relating to our Church's response to the Agriculture crisis facing the nation:

$15,000 for two provincial farm crisis meetings, four diocesan meetings, and two national farm strategy meetings to be held in connection with the consideration of farm legislation.

$6,000 for two meetings of the Rural Team with diocesan and ecumenical leaders in the most critically rural areas. (Anticipated at this time Oklahoma and the Southeast.)

$4,000 expanded circulation of two special issues of Grassroots on the farm crisis.

$5,000 for ecumenical actions of the NCC Farm Crisis Issue Team and the JSAC Rural North American Task Force on such anticipated issues as Black/White Farmer solidarity plan, and the Urban/Rural collaboration.
