Jane Fladd, Diocese of Los Angeles, assigned through the Amity Foundation in China for sixteen months starting April 1, 1995, as an English teacher. Jane is jointly appointed with the United Church of Christ, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and the United Board for Christian Higher Education.
The Rev. Santiago Garcia, Diocese of Guatemala, transferred from the Volunteer for Mission pattern of service to serve as a Missionary by Special Appointment and will transfer from the Diocese of E1 Salvador to the Diocese of the Dominican Republic. Fr. Garcia is jointly appointed with the Anglican Church of Canada and he will serve as the Dean of Studies, Center for Theological Studies, for three years as of October 1, 1995. Mrs. Carolina Garcia and their children Maite and Janer will accompany Fr. Garcia.
Lita Killip, Diocese of New York, assigned through the Amity Foundation in China for sixteen months starting April 1, 1995 as an English and Bible teacher. Lita is jointly appointed with the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia.
The Rev. Jonathan Rim, Diocese of Western New York, to serve in the Diocese of Pusan, Church of Korea, as Director and Priest at Kumi's Mission Center for two and one-half years starting June 1, 1995. Fr. Kim is jointly appointed with the Diocese of Western New York and is accompanied by Mrs. Kunai Kim.
The Rev. Nicholas T. Porter and Dorothy Porter, Diocese of Connecticut, transferred from the Volunteer for Mission category to become an Appointed Missionary as he continues to serve as the Chaplain to Bishop Kafity, Diocese of Jerusalem, Episcopal Church of Jerusalem and the Middle East, for three years as of September 16, 1995.
Herberta Smith, Diocese of Pennsylvania, to serve the Diocese of Mukono, Church of Uganda, for three years starting January 8, 1995, as Health Educator/Visitor. Ms. Smith is jointly appointed with the Merion Deanery, Diocese of Pennsylvania.
