Resolves of the Executive Council

Resolved, That at the joint request of the Diocese of Central New York and the Diocese of Egypt in the Episcopal Church of Jerusalem and the Middle East, the companion diocese relationship existing between them be renewed, such relationship to be in effect until October 1987, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further

Resolved, That at the joint request of the Diocese of El Camino Real and the Diocese of Madras in the Church of South India, a companion diocese relationship be established between them, such relationship to be in effect from January 1985 until January 1988, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further

Resolved, That at the joint request of the Diocese of Florida and the Diocese of Cuba, a companion diocese relationship be established between them, such relationship to be in effect from January 1984 to January 1987, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further

Resolved, That at the joint request of the Diocese of Kentucky and the Diocese of Sunyani and Tamale in the Church of the Province of West Africa, a companion diocese relationship be established between them, such relationship to be in effect until October 1987, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further

Resolved, That at the joint request of the Diocese of Southern Virginia and the Diocese of Bukavu in the Church of the Province of Burundi, Rwanda and Zaire, the companion diocese relationship existing between them be renewed, such relationship to be in effect until February 1987, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further

Resolved, That all of the above dioceses avail themselves of previous learnings and guidelines, through consultation with the Church Center staff and others, and that each partnership share its own experience and learnings with others.
