Whereas, The Commission on Theological Education for Latin America and the Caribbean, after careful consideration of the requests for use of the income from Trust Fund 809, respectfully submits the following recommendations, for approval by the Executive Council; therefore be it
Resolved, That the Executive Council affirm the recommendations of the Commission on Theological Education for Latin America and the Caribbean and approve the following requests in the total of $106,503.00 from the income of Trust Fund 809:
Colombia -- Continuing Education Program for clergy, part two, $4,545.00
Costa Rica -- Continuing Education Program for clergy, $9,100.00
Guatemala -- Expansion of program at Santo Tomas Seminary, year two support, $10,000.00
Honduras -- Theological, pastoral spiritual training program for 12-13 candidates, $10,000.00
Northern Mexico -- Theological Education for 8 students at center in Western Mexico, $10,000.00
The Rt. Rev. F. Reusfroylan -- Sabbatical Study in England, $1,880.00
Panama -- Diocesan Theological & Library Program, $10,000.00
Dominican Republic -- Stage two of CET Program for ordained ministry and laity, $10,000.00
El Salvador -- Education Project to expand churches, four seminarians, $10,000.00
Theological Education Commission, Latin America & Carib[bean] -- Feasibility Study of the creation of a Center for Theological Study for the region, $10,000.00
Theological Education Commission, Latin America & Carib[bean] -- Commission Meeting Expenses for 1985, $15,000.00
Nicaragua -- Third year support of Seminary training for Ennis Duffis, $5,978.00 (See Explanation.)
