Resolves of the Executive Council

Resolved, That at the request of the Diocese of California, a companion diocese relationship between that diocese and the Diocese of Jerusalem in the Episcopal Church of Jerusalem and the Middle East be established, such relationship to be in effect through December 1990, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further

Resolved, That at the request of the Diocese of Delaware, a companion relationship between that diocese and the Diocese of Pretoria in the Church of the Province of Southern Africa be established, such relationship to be in effect through December 1990, with the option of renewal for three more years, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further

Resolved, That at the request of the Diocese of Missouri, the companion diocese relationship now established with the Dioceses of Kaduna, Kano and Jos in the Church of the Province of Nigeria be renewed through December 1990, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further

Resolved, That at the request of the Diocese of El Camino Real, the companion diocese relationship now established with the Diocese of Madras in the Church of South India be renewed through December 1990, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further

Resolved, That at the request of the Diocese of Southwest Florida, a companion diocese relationship between that diocese and the Diocese of Limerick and Killaloe in the Church of Ireland be established, such relationship to be in effect through December 1990, unless sooner terminated by mutual consent; and be it further

Resolved, That the above dioceses avail themselves of previous learnings and guidelines, through consultation with the Episcopal Church Center staff and others, and that each companion share its own experience and learnings with the larger church.
