Resolved, That the Executive Council express its appreciation for the following Appointed Missionary and Volunteers for Mission who have faithfully completed their terms of service overseas:
Rev. Hannah Atkins, Diocese of New Jersey, after serving as a Missionary by special appointment jointly with the Church of Canada as the Theological and Christian Education Director, in the Diocese of El Salvador. This appointment initially started in August 1996, for two years, was extended until October 1999.
Ms. Mary Harris, Diocese of San Joaquin, after serving as the Administrative/Physio Assistant and House Mother at Bedford Orthopedic Hospital in Umtata, Diocese of St. John's, South Africa. This assignment was for one year, ending September 1999.
Rt. Rev. Bob Jones, Diocese of Wyoming, after serving as the Dean of St. George's College, in the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East. This assignment, initially for three years, was extended for six months, ending March 1, 2000.
Mr. James and Mrs. Jo Ann Watts, Diocese of Arkansas, after serving as the camp administrators in the Diocese of the Dominican Republic. This assignment was for six months, ending March 9, 1999.
