Resolved, That Executive Council, subject to available funding, establish a PIM II Action Committee, composed of no less than nine and no more than twelve members, primarily but not exclusively from Executive Council, and including youth representation, to facilitate and monitor the implementation of PIM II recommendations, addressing their implications for all levels and areas of our Church's life; and be it further
Resolved, That the PIM II Action Committee carry out its work in partnership and communication with our External Partners; and be it further
Resolved, That the PIM II Action Committee report to each meeting of Executive Council, and to our External Partners, on its proceedings, findings and recommendations; and be it further
Resolved, That as a sign of its readiness to respond in good faith to the challenges of our Partners, Council agree to the following:
Accept "A Call for Executive Council Action" (appended), prepared by a group of Partners, and other recommendations produced during the Consultation (paying particular attention to the Monday evening reports of the External Partners and the Communications Committee), as guides for addressing pressing issues before the Episcopal Church.
Ways and means being found, produce and make available to the congregations of this Church a video record of the PIM II Consultation, along with a Study Guide to its proceedings and conclusions, as well as a bulletin insert [and] any other appropriate educational tool to further the work of the Consultation.
Make full use of previous studies and plans of action, especially the "Report of the Presiding Bishop's Task Force on Christian Education in congregations" (approved for implementation by the 69th General Convention), in addressing the issues raised by our Partners.
Select a group of youth and young adults to be brought to the June meeting to discuss with Executive Council their reactions to the documents and reports of the PIM II Consultation.
