Resolved, That the Executive Council of the Episcopal Church, meeting in New Orleans, January 17-21, 2000, having heard the anguish of our partner Church in the Diocese of Jerusalem, hereby expresses to the government of Israel its opposition to the building of a Mosque next to the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth. |
