Resolved, That the 81st General Convention direct the Standing Commission on Structure, Governance, Constitution and Canons to create a committee to study the leadership obstacles faced by the Diocese of Haiti in order to create a canonical process which allows for the appointment of a Bishop Provisional for the Diocese of Haiti and enables the election of a Bishop Diocesan for the Diocese of Haiti and report to the 82nd General Convention; and be it further
Resolved, That the Standing Commission on Structure, Governance, Constitution and Canons create a canonical process to provide Ecclesiastical Authority and oversight for dioceses in crisis; and be it further
Resolved, That the Standing Commission on Structure, Governance, Constitution and Canons consider other dioceses that have experienced governance crises in drafting proposed legislation for the 82nd General Convention.
