Resolved, That this 67th General Convention authorize, subject to the approval of the diocesan Bishop, for trial use in special circumstances of ecumenical worship or for use in special study sessions, that certain document entitled Word, Bread, Cup published by Forward Movement Publications and copyrighted 1978 by the Executive Committee of the Consultation on Church Union, stating preference for Eucharist Prayers #1 and #2 and excluding #5, and that certain document An Order of Worship for the Proclamation of the Word of God and the Celebration of the Lord's Supper --provided that an ordained priest of this Church is the celebrant, or one of the celebrants, at a con-celebrated service; provided that the elements used are those used by our Lord, himself, namely bread and wine; provided further that any of the blessed elements remaining at the end of the service be reverently consumed; and provided further that the guidelines for interim eucharistic sharing authorized by the 65th General Convention be observed ( Journal, 1976; pp. C-89, C-90).
