Resolved, That the 64th General Convention, pursuant to Article V., Section 6, of the Constitution, consent to the ceding, by the Diocese of Erie, to the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania, that portion of Clearfield County denominated "Morris Township", subject to the final affirmative action of the Convention of the Diocese of Erie on amendment of Article I., Section 2, of that Diocese's Constitution.

CESSION OF TERRITORY-ERIE TO CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA
House of Bishops
On the Third Day, the Suffragan Bishop of Tennessee, for the Committee on Domestic Missions, moved the adoption of Resolution B-150, a Memorial from the Diocese of Erie, as follows:
Whereas, The Dioceses of Central Pennsylvania and Erie have been in the process of amending that provision in their respective diocesan Constitutions setting forth the territory each Diocese embraces, so as to transfer from the Diocese of Erie to the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania a portion of Clearfield County; and
Whereas, The Diocese of Central Pennsylvania has already completed the process of constitutional amendment, and the Diocese of Erie expects to complete the parallel process at the Annual Convention of that Diocese, to be held October 26-27, 1973; be it therefore
Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the 64th General Convention, pursuant to Article V., Section 6, of the Constitution, consent to the ceding, by the Diocese of Erie, to the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania, that portion of Clearfield County denominated "Morris Township", subject to the final affirmative action of the Convention of the Diocese of Erie on amendment of Article I., Section 2, of that Diocese's Constitution.
