Resolved, That the 81st General Convention direct the Standing Commission on Structure, Governance, Constitution, and Canons to review the application of the canons of this Church on parochial cures, canonical residence of clergy, and letters dimissory, with particular attention to Canons I.13, III.7.6, III.9.4, and other canons the Commission may deem relevant; and be it further

Resolved, That this Convention recommend the Commission gather input from bishops and diocesan leaders representing a variety of ministry contexts, including at least one diocese from each province of this Church; and be it further

Resolved, That this Convention direct the Commission to report its findings to the 82nd General Convention; and be it further

Resolved, That this Convention request the House of Bishops Theology Committee to prepare a statement on the ecclesiology of this Church as it relates to the practical implementation of policies on canonical residence, letters dimissory, the cure of souls, and the role of the bishop and the college of presbyters in the governance and good order of a diocese.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring,

That the 81st General Convention direct the Standing Commission on Structure, Governance, Constitution, and Canons to review the application of the canons of this Church on parochial cures, canonical residence of clergy, and letters dimissory, with particular attention to Canons I.13, III.7.6, III.9.4, and other canons the Commission may deem relevant; and be it further
