Resolved, That the 81st General Convention commends the work of Episcopal Communicators, a professional organization created to foster community that inspires and supports excellence in church communications through year-round virtual education opportunities, annual conference, networking, active listserv for troubleshooting communication challenges, and resource sharing; and be it further

Resolved, That the 81st General Convention celebrates Episcopal Communicators during its 50th anniversary, with its origins coming out of an assembly of diocesan editors in coordination with The Episcopal Church Center; Episcopal Communicators has increased the presence and capacity of church communications in The Episcopal Church and has continued the partnership with church leadership through the Office of Communication of The Episcopal Church; and be it further

Resolved, That communicators in The Episcopal Church are integral to furthering the Gospel and communications is an essential component of every ministry of the Church including formation, evangelism, worship, and community engagement within and beyond The Episcopal Church.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring,

That the 81st General Convention commends the work of Episcopal Communicators, a professional organization created to foster community that inspires and supports excellence in church communications through year-round virtual education opportunities, annual conference, networking, active listserv for troubleshooting communication challenges, and resource sharing; and be it further 

Resolved, That the 81st General Convention celebrates Episcopal Communicators during its 50th anniversary, with its origins coming out of an assembly of diocesan editors in coordination with The Episcopal Church Center; Episcopal Communicators has increased the presence and capacity of church communications in The Episcopal Church and has continued the partnership with church leadership through the Office of Communication of The Episcopal Church; and be it further 

Resolved, That communicators in The Episcopal Church are integral to furthering the Gospel and communications is an essential component of every ministry of the Church including formation, evangelism, worship, and community engagement within and beyond The Episcopal Church; and be it further 

Resolved, That church, diocesan, and organizational leadership support communications staff with necessary resources and training required for professional communications and recognizes the value and community Episcopal Communicators can provide; and be it further 

Resolved, That all communication professionals in dioceses, congregations, and Episcopal Church-related organizations are encouraged to become members of Episcopal Communicators.
