Resolved, That the House of Deputies of the 79th General Convention honors the 25th anniversary of the election of the Right Reverend Mary Adelia McLeod to serve as the Ninth Bishop of the Diocese of Vermont; and be it further

Resolved, That we acknowledge the silver anniversary of this pioneer’s consecration on All Saints Day 1993, when she became the first woman to serve as diocesan bishop in The Episcopal Church, fulfilling her responsibilities with grace and dignity.
