Resolved, That this 71st General Convention acknowledge with thanksgiving to God the efforts and ministry of former President George Bush and Secretary of State James Baker, both active Episcopalians, for their persistent, effective and dedicated leadership in initiating the peace process which now continues in the Middle East between Israel, the Palestinians and other Arab countries in that region; and be it further
Resolved, That this General Convention send its greeting to these two fellow churchmen.
