Resolved, That this 69th General Convention direct the Committee on the State of the Church, the Standing Commission on Stewardship and Development, and the Joint Standing Committee on Program, Budget and Finance to study the funding of the church at all levels and the accuracy and importance of parochial and diocesan reports, and to make recommendation to the next General Convention.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That this 69th General Convention establish a Joint Select Committee on Church Funding and Information to study the funding of the Church at all levels and the accuracy and importance of parochial and diocesan reports, and to make recommendations to the next General Convention as deemed appropriate; and be it further
Resolved, That the Presidents of both Houses be authorized to appoint persons from Stewardship and Development; Program, Budget and Finance; and State of the Church to engage in this study; and be if further
Resolved, That this committee's existence cease with the 70th General Convention unless specifically re-established; and be it further
Resolved, That the sum of $30,000 be appropriated for the work of this committee for the next triennium.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That this 69th General Convention authorize the Presidents of both Houses to appoint persons from the Committee on the State of the Church, the Standing Commission on Stewardship and Development, and the Joint Standing Committee on Program, Budget and Finance to study the funding of the Church at all levels and the accuracy and importance of parochial and diocesan reports, and to make recommendations to the next General Convention; and be it further
Resolved, That the sum of $30,000 be appropriated for the work of this Committee for the next triennium.

The Committee on Stewardship and Development presented its Report #15 on House of Bishops Message #279 relating to Resolution A084s (Committee to Study Church Funding) and moved concurrence, with amendment.
Proposed Committee Amendment:
Delete the entire second Resolved.
In the first Resolved, following the words "69th General Convention":
substitute the word "direct" for the word "authorize;"
delete the words "the Presidents of both Houses to appoint from."
