Resolved, That The Hymnal, as reported by the Standing Commission on Church Music, be authorized and approved for use in this Church; and be it further
Resolved, That the work of the Commission be continued, with authority to perfect the details of its work and complete, for the benefit of the Church Pension Fund, pew and accompaniment editions of the revised Hymnal; and be it further
Resolved, That the publication of The Hymnal be committed to the Trustees of the Church Pension Fund for the benefit of that Fund.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the Hymnal, as reported by the Standing Commission on Church Music, be authorized and approved for use in this Church; and be it further
Resolved, That the work of the Commission be continued, with authority to perfect the details of its work and complete, for the benefit of The Church Pension Fund, pew and accompaniment editions of the revised Hymnal; and be it further
Resolved, That the publication of the Hymnal be committed to the Trustees of The Church Pension Fund for the benefit of that Fund.

On the third day, the Bishop Suffragan of Atlanta, Chairman of the Committee on Church Music, introduced the Standing Commission on Church Music to the House. The Rev. William Hale, Chairman of the Commission, addressed the House. The Rev. Dr. Charles Price was introduced to speak in behalf of the Theology Committee of the Commission.
The Committee moved the adoption of Resolution A-93A ( The Hymnal).
The motion was seconded by the Bishop of Iowa.
Without discussion, the resolution, as amended carried.

The Rev. Edward Kryder, of Western New York, Chairman of the Committee on Church Music, presented the Committee's Report #2, on Resolution A-93A ( The Hymnal), recommending concurrence with House of Bishops Message #30.
The Committee on Church Music made itself available to the House to answer questions by the Deputies.
Deputy Fleming, of South Carolina, moved to amend the Special Order to extend time for questions by five minutes. A vote was called, a two-thirds majority being necessary.
