The Middle East Today, an expanded and updated two-volume guide, seeks to increase the understanding of Episcopalians about the complex issues in the region. The Resource Directory is an annotated list of more than 140 print and audiovisual resources, curricula, and organizations. It focuses on the interplay of the political, religious, social, and human rights issues shaping the area, and also on the work of the Episcopal Church in the Anglican province of Jerusalem and the Middle East. The Speakers' Directory lists over 90 Middle East specialists who are available for addressing parish groups, as well as a number of Episcopalians who are willing to share their recent firsthand experiences in the region.
