Cardinal Suenens of Belgium to be Chief Speaker at Trinity Institute Conference

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Leon-Joseph Cardinal Suenens, Archbishop of Malines-Brussels and Primate of Belgium, will be the chief speaker at the Fourth National Conference of Trinity Institute, in March, in the middle of Lent. The subject will be "Jesus. "

The conference this year will have identical sessions on both the West and the East Coasts.

It will open in Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, where sessions will be held March 18-20. Then it will move to New York's Riverside Church, where sessions will be held March 22-24.

This will be the second visit of the Belgian cardinal to the Institute. In 1970, he came with the Archbishop of Canterbury to the Seminar of Bishops.

Cardinal Suenens is knows throughout the world as a prime spokesman for the renewal of the church.
