Bishop of Washington promotes three Episcopal Communicators

Bishop John Bryson Chane of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington recently announced the promotion of three members of the communication team in the diocese.

Jim Naughton, formerly director of communications, has been named Canon for communications and advancement. His colleagues Lucy Chumbley, editor of the diocese's monthly newspaper "Washington Window," and Amy Elliott, who maintains the diocese's website, have new responsibilities as diocesan communications specialist and parish communications specialist respectively.

Naughton also maintains the blog Daily Episcopalian.
